Volunteer at Swarthmore

Please note: We now advertise for volunteers as we need them. Please look on the Vacancies page on the website or on the notice board outside Reception in the Centre for current vacancies.

Volunteers can work with learners on our Skills for Life, Computer, Arts and Healthy Living programmes and:

• work with disabled people or help in numeracy and literacy classes
• learn new skills, supported by induction and training
• meet people and make friends
• improve your job prospects

Social Programme

Would you be interested in developing a social programme for all our users, which could include eg theatre trips, rambles, Christmas Party, chess and scrabble, one-off talks about topical issues and art gallery trips?

If you are interested in working as a volunteer to help organise and promote this programme, please contact Reception.
