Make a Donation

give

Swarthmore is a charity, relying on annual grants and donations in order to continue to offer a wide choice of educational opportunities. Our historic grade II listed building, which dates back to 1840, is expensive to maintain. We would welcome any donation - large or small.

Small donations can be made at enrolment (see enrolment form) or at any other time through Reception. However, if you would like to make a larger contribution, you could consider the following:

PAYROLL GIVING

You could make a regular donation from your wages or salary. Because your donation is deducted from your pay (or pension) before your tax is calculated, you get tax relief straight away at your highest rate of tax, so your donation effectively costs you less and your chosen charity gets more.

GIFT AID

Gift Aid is one of the simplest and most effective ways of giving to charity. Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, the charity you are supporting will receive an extra 28 pence from the Inland Revenue. This means that a £10 Gift Aid donation, is worth £12.80 to the charity.
