We will return to 1970’s Blue Peter and make some ‘really useful’ items.
Who is the course aimed at?
For adults and children, who want to learn together. Parents or guardians with their school aged children. Adults must be accompanied by up to 2 children.
Course description in brief
Using cardboard, sticky back plastic and an old sock, among other things, we will make a Clanger, a useful container and teleport bracelet from Blakes 7.
By the end of the course I will have learned:
- What Blue Peter was like in the 1970s and how to craft nostalgic decorations from recycled materials.

No previous experience required

None needed, but bring a bag to take all your goodies home in.

No, all materials are included
What activities will I take part in and how will my course be structured?
The tutor will demonstrate all activities. There will be a range of techniques and challenges for all abilities.
What will be expected of me in terms of personal or time commitment?
If you want to participate in all activities, you should attend the full session. However, we have a flexible approach where young learners are concerned.

What could I go on to do after I have finished the course?
There are a number of seasonal craft sessions on Saturdays. Your tutor will be able to advise you at the end of the course or you can speak to our student advisor
