Who is the course aimed at?
Families including children from the age of 4 upwards
Course description in brief
This course aims to make learning about Spain and the Spanish language fun family learning activity.
By the end of the course I will have learned:
- To get a feel for the French language and culture.
To have fun while learning a new skill.
To become enthused and want to take their learning further. To learn basic French sentences in the form of questions and answers.
To be confident to practice new skills in front of an audience.
To imitate accent and try to reproduce it accurately

Pen/pencil and paper
What activities will I take part in and how will my course be structured?
Speaking and listening activities, art activities, role play and interactive activities on the whiteboard.
What will be expected of me in terms of personal or time commitment?
Weekly attendance at the sessions and practice a bit at home.
How will my learning be assessed and reviewed?
Weekly feedback on a tracking sheet. Individual verbal feedback.
What could I go on to do after I have finished the course?
Rejoin the class for further learning and knowledge or/and speak to our student adviser about other family courses at Swarthmore.
