Community Artists Residencies
We're incredibly excited to be delivering two community artist residencies this year. The artists will work in Hunslet and Belle Isle.
They will work with groups, individuals, and key organisations from the area, collecting stories reflecting the Pride and Place theme.
The artist will facilitate arts activities to help collect stories and increase engagement in the project. Members of the community will work together with the artist to co-create a piece of lasting artwork which will remain in the community. Each residency will last for 12 weeks, with the artist working in the area 2 days a week.
Hunslet Community Artist Residency
Rozi Fuller is based in Hunslet from September until December.

Workshop Volunteers
We are looking for volunteers to support the artists to run their workshops, including welcoming participants and supporting them to get involved, setting up and clearing down the space.
Volunteers support differently abled participants to get involved in the workshops and help to create an inclusive, friendly and caring environment.
We look forward to hearing from volunteers who would be able to commit to ten week blocks of workshops (one each week on a weekday, during the daytime).
We are keen to discuss with those who are interested how we can support any access requirements.
Travel expenses will be provided. All volunteers require DBS checks and references. Volunteers must be 18 or over.
If you have any questions or would like further information, please get in touch with the Volunteer Coordinator, Honor at [email protected].uk
