We WON the Community Engagement Award at the Educate North Awards!

We are very proud of the Art at The Heart project and the positive impact the project had on the participants. The project supported Ukrainian refugees to develop confidence in English through arts and culture. Chris and Sarah were delighted to collect our award.

Judges comment on our winning entry: "An amazing impactful project that makes a difference for refugees and asylum seekers to develop language skills, confidence and promote well-being through arts and culture. Following the programme, participants have gained employment or secured further training and education".

We WON the DIGITAL EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT AWARD at the Educate North Awards! 

We are very proud of the Swarthmore Connected and Stays Connected projects and the positive impact they had on students' lives. The project supported those who were digitally excluded and isolated during the pandemic, providing meaningful opportunities alongside digital and social connectivity.

Achieved Cyber Essentials

Swarthmore is commited to cyber security and is proud to hold the Cyber Essentials, and Cyber Essentials Plus certification standards.

Cyber Essentials is an effective, Government backed scheme, designed to help protect organisations, whatever size, against a whole range of the most common cyber attacks.

Cyber Essentials Plus takes this further by performing a hands-on technical verification process, to ensure that the safeguards implemented are effective.

Matrix Standard

Swarthmore has retained the Matrix Accreditation for over 10 years. The matrix Standard is owned by the Department for Education (DfE) and ensures the delivery of high-quality information, advice and guidance (IAG) services that enable people to reach their full potential. Our student support team have IAG Qualifications to enable them to give the best support possible to students enrolling on our courses. Our tutors will give further guidance during courses and then at the end of each course will advice students on appropriate next steps.
