'Be More' at Swarthmore

Project: January - July 2023

The 'Be More' at Swarthmore Project was an Arts and English course at the centre open to refugees and asylum seekers who based in the City. The project ran over 20 weeks and provided access to arts and crafts, cultural visits and the development of English skills throughout the programme. Swarthmore Education Centre recruited volunteers to help support the participants with arts and language development. The project's intention was to provide a safe space for participants to develop their language skills, support their health and well being, and improve confidence through arts based activities.
